I met a man yesterday at the mall...a Nigerian man. While we talked, he mentioned he had just visited Ibadan and said "did you know the country has changed?". In my mind, I rolled my eyes and thought "another fruitless conversation about the price of tomatoes". However, he gave a report that no Nigerian has given to me in many years..."the country is now beautiful, have you seen Lagos? The streets of Oke Ado in Ibadan, oh the country has changed!" I hope I didn't look as shoc...ked as I felt.
I saw a post on Nathaniel Bassey's page about how the green passport will soon become sought after and I wondered how the country will quickly change if only 10 percent (18 million people) had such faith in her. I'm not saying don't give the bad reports, most of them are true; as a matter of fact, I think its ridiculous to pay five times the normal price for tomatoes, it just doesn't make sense - how then should people eat??!!! Albeit, if we don't share in her suffering, how are we worthy to partake in her glory? (Selah).
Nigeria has a prophetic significance among nations and that is why the devil is attacking her this way. Therefore, before you proceed to curse and insult our leaders, pray for them, you know it's scriptural. Before you proceed to complain, speak a good word about her destiny. Wake up everyday and speak into her future, it is for your own good also. You cannot prosper in a country you don't pray for. (Selah).
I would love to end this post by saying "God bless you Nigeria", but I think it's more appropriate to say "Begin to enjoy the blessings of God" because Nigeria is blessed, her people just don't know it yet.
